In 2017 spring, Etienne joined an artist residence program, exploring the lives in Japan’s Gunma prefecture is a photo series shot by Etienne Leung during her 6-week artist residency in Onishi, a small town located in Fujioka, Gunma, Japan.

This work was exhibited at Dialect’s 2019 Summer Showcase in Macau.
